The NJ State Elks Soccer
Shoot was held this past Sunday in Manasquan & 3 of the winners are from
Piscataway & they are on their way to the Mid-Atlantic Elks Soccer
Shoot that will be held in Frederick, MD on March 6-8, 2015. The NJ
State Elks will be sending the 8 winners to represent the State of NJ to
Maryland to compete against 7 other States.
Logan Batulis took 1st place in the U8 Boys catergory with a total score of 34 out 45.
Taylor Green took 1st place in the U8 Girls catergory with a perfect score of 45 (she didn't miss one shot)
Emma Couchie took 1st place in the U10 Girls catergory with a total score of 39 out 75
All 3 kids had a great time & together with the rest of the
kids that represented the Central District we ended up taking home the
trophy for the highest scoring District in the state of NJ. New Jersey
has 12 districts & the Central District consists of the following
lodges - Piscataway, New Brunswick, Edison, South Plainfield,
Carteret,Colonia, Woodbridge, Plainfield, Watchung Hills, Metuchen,
South Amboy & East Brunswick.
