The travel program requires a significant time and financial commitment from both the player and their family. Why participate? It's FUN! But besides that, here is some additional information:
- U-8 and above Boys and Girls Travel teams are formed in the Spring for full year of play in the upcoming Fall and Spring seasons
- Positions are determined by tryouts held each Spring (usually May/June timeframe)
- Tryouts are rated by professional trainers and travel coaches
- Teams play 10-game schedules in the Fall and in the Spring
- Game locations are in central New Jersey (half of the games are in Piscataway)
- Teams may participate in tournaments and in Winter league play
- Most teams schedule 2 practices per week, and one of these practices is usually with a Trainer
- Games are scheduled for Sunday afternoon, exception is U8 games which are scheduled for Saturday afternoon
- Teams may also employ additional practices with professional trainers
- Teams may also employ professional trainers as the “game day coach”
- Cost for a full season may vary please check the registration site for current season cost.
- Uniform kit expenses are between $100 and $150, back packs , and warm-up suits might be required.
Trainer, tournament, and winter league costs are in addition to the season / uniform fee
